A day to celebrate: Ateliê Urucum is online!

Now I can share about my work with you.

Since 2021 I started planning this website! Throughout this time, I did a lot of research on how to create an online space where I could share the practice of handmade bookbinding.

Several websites, videos from artists and people connected to technology, and many blogs helped me during this journey!

Feedback and ideas from close friends and family were also essential! These conversations supported me in creating a virtual space that resonates with me.

Along this journey I established two main goals:

1. Share Urucum’s handmade notebooks, so that people can get their own notebooks and enjoy them.

2. Share knowledge about handmade bookbinding through workshops and my blog.

A website is an organic space that must be observed and cared for constantly. I'm happy to publish it and to now be able to record, document and share my work with you.
